Tiffany Dinh is the VISTA Data Specialist at Root & Rebound, where she is responsible for onboarding and expanding R&R’s capacity for grant applications while improving the logistics behind data collection and reporting for internal initiatives. Her role will involve enhancing the flexibility of the CRM systems, refining feedback processes with clients, and leading the initiative in launching a new database system.
After receiving a degree in Statistics and Quantitative Management from UC Riverside, she started her career as a Survey Operations Specialist at a K-12 educational-technology company. Here, she worked closely with student data to deliver actionable insights to schools and districts to improve student outcomes. Amazed by the power of data and its applications, she decided to pivot to a teaching role to understand how these tools can be utilized to address the achievement gap for historically underserved students.
As her passion for data deepened, so did her awareness of its potential beyond education. With a personal connection to the challenges of reentry, she became increasingly interested in how data could be used to address systemic injustices. She began exploring its role in criminal justice reform, reentry services, and policy advocacy, recognizing that the same analytical approaches used in education could help dismantle barriers for system-impacted individuals. This realization ultimately led her to Root & Rebound, where she is excited to utilize data to support advocacy efforts, expand access to resources, and empower individuals as they rebuild their lives.
